- I am the owner of TLW Public Relations and its principle consultant. I have over 20 years of experience as a public information manager for municipal and county governments and have served as a public relations and public affairs consultant for individuals, small businesses, associations and nonprofits. I have written and implemented numerous successful marketing and publicity plans; planned small and very large scale specials events; served as managing editor of award-winning publications; and produced award-winning videos and cable-TV programs. I am also a media trainer and have an extensive background in media relations with print and broadcast organizations. I have worked, too, on several local, regional and national political campaigns. I am currently a member of a number of business and professional organizations, including the Public Relations Society of America. I and my company are winners of numerous awards and honors, including three Hermes Creative Awards for publication writing from the international public relations and marketing group, the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
